Labs - Instructions and Guidelines

 Hands on Labs provide real time experience for Cloud Computing Techlologies like AWS, Azure.

Getting access to Labs

  1. If you have purchased any of the following Online Courses or Practice Tests you will be able to use the labs as complimentary.

    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate

    • AWS Certified Developer - Associate

    • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate

    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional

    • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional

  2. Labs can be accessed and used based on the points you have in your account.

    • By default, you will be allocated 500 points.

    • If you purchase any of the AWS Courses/Practice Tests, 500 points will be added to your account.

    • For running any lab, each time you use the lab 10 points will be deducted from your account.

    • You can also get/purchase more points by contacting Whizlabs Support.

Navigation and Steps

  1. Login into www.whizlabs.com

  2. Navigate to My Courses. Here you will be able to see the Courses/Practice Tests purchased by you.

    • Example : AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate

  3. Click on Access Now. It will take you to the Homepage of AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate - Whizlabs Learning Management System (Whizlabs LMS) dashboard.

  1. As shown in the above screenshot, you can see the points allocated to you, which is 200.

  2. Click on Start to start that particular lab. As an example, click on the Start button in front of Lab - Access and tour AWS Console.

  3. A new tab will open which will contain the details of that lab.

  1. Go through the Lab Details and Tasks provided in the Page. It will provide the details of that lab.

  2. Once you have understood the Lab Details and Tasks in hand, click on the . Note that 10 points will be deducted from your account here.

  3. It will usually take 1-2 minutes for New Lab Environment to create. You will get a loading symbol. Please wait until the lab is started.

  4. Once the lab is started, will be active and you can start using the Lab.

  5. Note that an AWS account is automatically allocated to you. You will not need a separate AWS account to run lab.

  6. Follow the Lab steps and complete the Lab.

  7. Once Completed, click on   .

  8. Once completed go through the Completion and conclusion at the end of the page to understand the details on topics and concepts which you have learnt.

  9. Each and every lab will have specific Support Documents provided in the right panel, which are important for the lab.

  10. FAQs and Troubleshooting - provides details on general FAQs of lab and common issues faced while using Labs.
